John Yau teaches at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts and is arts editor at The Brooklyn Rail. His talk focused on common motifs found in the work of Jasper Johns, Catherine Murphy and Thomas Nozkowski. His latest book, A Thing Among Things: The Art of Jasper Johns, is now widely available at bookstores.
